Something spooky is lurking in Dorking… 👻
Our Spooktacular Halloween Hunt is back, and it’s ready and waiting for little ghouls, goblins and grown-ups to come and explore. Best of all, it’s completely free!
Running from Saturday 17th October to Sunday 1st November 2026, the hunt is the perfect half-term activity: screen-free fun that gets the whole family out and about, exploring Dorking’s streets and discovering our fantastic local shops along the way.
How to take part 🕵️♀️
- Download the map and form and print it off before you head out.
- Explore the town and keep your eyes peeled for our spooky characters hiding in shop windows around Dorking.
- Fill in your form as you spot each one.
- Send in your completed form once you’ve tracked them all down.
You can do the hunt at your own pace, whenever suits you, during shop opening hours. [See the participating shops here] [link].
Costumes encouraged!
Witches, wizards, pumpkins and pint-sized vampires are all very welcome. Why not make a day of it and stop off at one of Dorking’s cafés, pubs or restaurants for a treat along the way? And keep a lookout for Dorkers, who might be strutting around town too!
