Keeping Dorking in Bloom
When summer comes round, we roll up our sleeves (and grab our watering cans) to help bring a splash of colour to Dorking Town Centre.
Working hand in hand with the brilliant team at Dorking Men’s Shed, we help organise the summer flower displays that brighten up our streets and give shoppers, visitors and locals alike something to smile about. It’s a true community effort, and proof that great things grow when people come together.
A town that looks cared for is a town people want to spend time in, and that means more footfall for the local businesses we’re proud to support. So next time you’re strolling through town and stop to admire the flowers, you’ll know there’s a bit of Friends of Dorking (and a lot of Men’s Shed elbow grease) behind them.
Fancy getting your hands dirty? We’re always happy to welcome new volunteers. Get in touch to find out how you can help keep Dorking blooming.
